Publication Policies
1. Business Model
Zeus Press operates under a Gold Open Access business model. This approach requires authors to pay an Article Processing Charge (APC) upon acceptance of their manuscript. These charges fund the editorial process, peer review, typesetting, archiving, and immediate online publication of their work. With this model, all articles are freely available to everyone worldwide at the point of publication, eliminating subscription fees and enhancing the dissemination of research findings.
2. Copyright Policy
Under the Gold Open Access model, authors retain the copyright of their work. Articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY), which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original author and source are credited. This licensing ensures maximum dissemination and reuse potential of the research.
3. Open-access Policy
Zeus Press is committed to providing immediate open access to all published articles. This policy supports the principle that making research freely available to the public fosters wider knowledge exchange. All articles are accessible without cost from the moment of publication, allowing anyone to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of these articles.
4. Submission Policy
Authors wishing to submit manuscripts to Zeus Press can do so through our online submission system. Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. The submission process involves an initial editorial assessment, followed by a rigorous peer-review process. Detailed submission guidelines, including formatting and publication ethics, are available on our website.
5. Deposit Policy
Zeus Press supports self-archiving and encourages authors to deposit the final published versions of their articles into institutional or subject repositories immediately upon publication. This aligns with our commitment to enhancing the visibility and credibility of academic research. Our deposit policy adheres to the requirements of various funding bodies and institutional mandates.
6. Advertising Policy
We do not publish any commercial advertisements for revenue. However, we may publish the valuable academic information free of charge.
7. Marketing Policy
Zeus Press utilizes a strategic marketing approach to promote published articles and journals. Our marketing initiatives include social media campaigns, email newsletters, conference presentations, and collaboration with academic institutions. The goal is to maximize the visibility and impact of the research we publish, ensuring that it reaches a broad and diverse audience.
8. Waiver Policy
To support researchers from low-income and middle-income countries or those facing financial hardship, Zeus Press offers a waiver policy for the Article Processing Charges (APC). Authors can apply for a full or partial waiver during the submission process by providing justification for their request. Waiver requests are considered on a case-by-case basis to ensure equitable access to publishing opportunities.
9. Refund Policy
We implement a reasonable refund policy based on the publishing status.
-
Fully refund: online version is unpublished
-
Half refund: online version is published and print version is unpublished
-
No refund: both the online and print version are published
