Official Statement Regarding Misleading Third-Party Promotions
Posted on 2026-08-06Zeus Press has recently become aware that certain third-party agencies, commercial organizations, social media accounts, and individuals have promoted journals published by Zeus Press using misleading expressions such as “guaranteed acceptance,” “acceptance within 1–3 working days,” “easy publication,” and “low-threshold acceptance.”
Zeus Press hereby issues the following official statement:
- Zeus Press has never advertised, promised, or authorized any third party to promise guaranteed acceptance, acceptance within 1–3 working days, or any similar arrangement.
- All manuscripts submitted to journals published by Zeus Press must undergo the journals’ established editorial assessment and peer-review procedures. Editorial decisions are based on academic quality, originality, relevance to the journal’s scope, research integrity, and reviewers’ recommendations.
- Payment of an Article Processing Charge (APC) does not influence editorial decisions or peer-review outcomes. APCs are charged only in accordance with the applicable journal’s publicly stated policies and do not constitute payment for acceptance.
- Zeus Press has not authorized any third party to guarantee publication, inclusion in a particular database, citation performance, or recognition by any university, research institution, degree-awarding body, or professional evaluation authority.
- Promotional statements independently published by intermediaries, cultural companies, commercial organizations, social media accounts, or individuals do not represent the official position, publishing policies, or commitments of Zeus Press.
Authors should verify submission requirements, peer-review procedures, publication fees, and indexing information exclusively through the official Zeus Press website and the relevant journal websites. Authors are advised to exercise caution when dealing with unauthorized intermediaries and not to make payments to unknown individuals or organizations claiming that they can guarantee acceptance.
If you encounter misleading advertisements, unauthorized use of the Zeus Press name or journal titles, fraudulent payment requests, or claims of guaranteed publication, please retain screenshots, payment records, website links, and other relevant evidence and report the matter to Zeus Press for verification.
Zeus Press remains committed to responsible scholarly publishing, editorial independence, publication ethics, and transparent peer review. We reserve the right to request the correction or removal of misleading content and to take appropriate action against unauthorized or fraudulent use of our name.
